Ecopond Tadpole Food

Ecopond Tadpole Foods have been developed as a result of the growing interest in ponds as a habitat for wildlife and in feeding garden wildlife generally.

Frogs and toads are an important and interesting part of our eco-system but, like many other forms of wildlife, they sometimes struggle to survive, due to natural or human intervention.

Lack of food will greatly reduce their chance of reaching maturity, so providing a helping hand with some specially formulated food will help to keep amphibian populations in ponds and gardens healthy.

Ecopond Tadpole Food is a vegetable based food, formulated to meet the dietary needs of tadpoles in the early stages of development, up to the point where they develop back legs (4-6 weeks after free swimming begins).

Ecopond Late Stage Tadpole Food is a high protein food, formulated to meet the dietary needs of tadpoles in the later stages of development when they have developed back legs (approximately 6 weeks after free swimming begins).

Feeding Guide:

A pinch of either Ecopond Tadpole Food should be sprinkled on the surface of the pond once a day.
