The Seachem MultiTest Reef Special includes a Phosphate, Silicate and Iodine/Iodide kit in one handy pack - and is a perfect compliment to the Seachem Multi Test Marine Basic kit.
Seachem MultiTest Reef Silicates measures silicates down to 0.5mg/L in marine or freshwater aquariums. Silicates, together with phosphates are often responsible for nuisance algaes, particularly within reef aquarium.
Seachem MultiTest Phosphate measures inorganic phosphates down to 0.05 mg/l, producing a unique and easy to read yellow-green-blue colour range in marine and freshwater.
Should you have an issue with algae within your aquarium, test for both silicates and phosphates. Should you find high levels of either, products such as Rowaphos or Seachem Phosguard can be used to reduce them, and increase the number of water changes you undertake. Before this however, it's also a good idea to check your tap water - as if you have high levels of phosphates and silicates in your tap water, water changes won't help. In these circumstances, the best approach is to swap to Reverse Osmosis (RO) water, which will have the silicates and phosphates removed.
Corals require iodine as a de-toxifier, as a protection against uv radiation and as a natural defense against many parasites, and is an additive that is regularly used. As such it makes sense to measure Iodine and Iodide levels within your reef tank to ensure you're maintaining the correct level.

Who should my customers contact if they have questions?
All existing customer loans have been automatically transferred to Klarna and your customers have also been notified directly. There will be no changes to existing terms and conditions and customers do not have to take any action. From 1st January 2019 Klarna became the lender on all new loan applications.
